PS4/5 needs to meet two conditions to use v2rayN for proxy:
A Windows computer and a PS 4/5.
You must ensure that your Deer account can be used normally on the computer. PS4/5 uses the network shared by the computer to use the Xiaolu account. During the use of PS4/5, the computer must be turned on and connected to the Internet and open v2rayN. And the PC and PS4/5 must be in the same LAN (which can be understood as using the same router or connecting to the same WIFI).
First enable "Allow connections from LAN" in the v2rayN client of the PC, as shown below:
Then check the LAN IP address of the computer. The specific method is to use the Win key + R shortcut key to bring up the "Run" window, enter CMD in this window and confirm to bring up the command window. Type ipconfig in the command window and press Enter. ipconfig will display the computer's IP address and other information. Similar to the picture below, you can see the IP address of the PC.
After remembering the IP of our computer, we went to PS4 configuration.
Open settings:
Select network:
Set up network connection:
Choose to use WIFI
Then select Customize:
Choose your home WIFI:
For IP address settings, select Automatic here:
DHCP Host Name is not specified here by default:
DNS settings are also automatic by default:
MTU automatic:
Proxy (proxy) server is selected here:
Then fill in the IP address of your computer. As mentioned earlier, fill in the Port code as 1080. The default is 1080 (if it is v2ray, it should be 10809, which is the HTTP displayed under the v2rayN interface) as shown in the figure:
Then click Continue, and you will be prompted that the network settings have been updated:
Then just test it and it will be set up if everything is OK.
